Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

MARGe provides a monthly trading guide for long-term investing in a separate MyTrade account.
MATE equips clients with the Navigator, an interactive investing tool that marries fundamental and technical analysis to give you all that you need to know about our top stock picks at a glance.

  1. Fill out the account registration form at start.mytrade.com.ph
  2. Prepare the following required documents for upload:
    • Copies of your 2 valid IDs (Front and back view) with 3 specimen signature on the left (1 primary and 1 secondary or both primary IDs)
    • Copy of the minor’s birth certificate (For In-Trust-For account)
    • Copy of your public utility bill / Billing Statement
    • Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  3. After you register, you will receive a link with a copy of your submissions.
  4. If your online registration is a success, you should receive a notification for an email verification.
  5. Once the complete requirements are received by MyTrade, wait for an email notification on the activation of the account and unique 8-character client code before funding. Processing time is no longer 5 business days upon receipt of the complete documents/requirements.

 

Note: Incomplete forms and requirements will result in an unsuccessful online registration.

1. TWO (2) VALID IDs with 3 SIGNATURE. These IDs include:

– Primary IDs:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • Social Security System (SSS)
  • GSIS
  • Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)
  • Voter’s ID
  • PRC ID
  • Philsys / National ID

– Secondary ID:

  • Any ID issued by the company or organization with photo and signature

For newlyweds with ID’s reflecting the maiden name, submit a marriage certificate as a supporting document.

– Does not have to be under applicant’s name
– Should be the latest or billed within 3 months period.
– Should reflect the same address as written in the application form

Is my billing statement still acceptable if it is not under my name?

Your billing statement is only a proof of your mailing address. It does not need to be under your name, as long as it is the same address with your declared residence.

  1. Utility bills (Ex. Electricity, Water, and Internet)
  2. Credit card statements
  3. Insurance statements

Fund as soon as your client code becomes available. Client Codes are sent via email. If you did not receive an account activation email yet, your client code can be viewed under Equities Portfolio beside your Account Name.

It only takes 1 day after selling to withdraw your funds.

Withdrawal requests for same day crediting cut-off time is 12NN. Any requests received beyond 12NN will be processed the next business day.

You can only withdraw an amount up to your available cash balance.

In order to effect such a transfer, please submit a written instruction (copy furnished to MyTrade PH) to your other broker indicating the necessary particulars. The process will take up to TWO (2) working days.

Good thing is, your first stock transfer to MyTrade PH is free of charge! Succeeding requests will cost seventy-five pesos (P75.00) per stock.

We recommend you to open a separate portfolio for Marge portfolio and your regular trading portfolio. It would be better if you have separate ports for short-term trading and long-term investing.

  1. Student ID
    1. Student ID is the primary ID. Secondary ID is any other ID.
  2. TIN (click the link for instructions)
  1. Birth Certificate of the trustee
  2. Instruction letter/email from primary stating that the account is for ITF

Current bank statement or Statement of Account (SOA)

  1. Account Opening Forms
  2. Consularized IDs. At least two (2) of the following:
    – Passport
    – UMID
    – Driver’s License
    – PRC ID
    – Postal ID
    – Voter’s ID
    – Senior Citizens Card
  1. Account Opening forms
  2. Consularized IDs:
    – Passport
    – Any government issued ID

     

*Additional requirements for foreign individuals residing in the Philippines:

  1. Account Opening Forms
  2. Two (2) IDs. Any of the following:
    – Passport
    – ACR or Alien Employment Permit
    – Resident Visa

How to know if my account is activated?

  1. An account is activated once it has been assigned with a CLIENT CODE, which is sent through an email.
  2. You can tap us for a follow-up on your client code using the link below:

Or you can also check your email for the status of your account application.

 

Why did my account get suspended when I haven’t even received my Client Code?

  1. If your MyTrade PH account is not yet activated over the course of 10 days, the system tags it as a trial account and temporarily suspends your access.
  2. While waiting for your Client Code, you may send us a request to lift your temporary suspension status via MyTrade PH Official Facebook Page.
  1. Simply accomplish the manual forms here (start.mytrade.com.ph) with copies of the joint account holder’s valid ids. Attach these documents with your email request for a joint account and sent it to start@mytrade.com.ph 
  2. For In-Trust-For or ITF accounts, just send us an email request indicating the name for ITF along with the birth certificate.

The trading hours are 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Clients can still post a buy or sell order during market off-hours which will be processed the next day.
